Whyatica

Whyatica was a robot that competed in Season 2.0 of Robotica. It had 4 wheels and an electrically-powered lifting plough at the front. It lost to Jav Man in the Preliminary Stages. Its name was derived from its creators Team Whyachi as well as a pun on sciatica.

Whyatica also competed in Season 5.0 of BattleBots as Warrior. Team Whyachi's later robot Warrior SKF was a completely different robot, unrelated in design and components to Whyatica.

Team Whyachi were regular competitors on BattleBots, winning the Heavyweight category in Season 3.0 with Son of Whyachi and also entering Whyachi, YU812, Why Not, Y-Pout, Falcon and Red Square during the shows original run and 2004 Charity Event, returning with BABS for the 2009 event.

Team Whyachi also applied to enter Robot Wars: Extreme Warriors with Son of Whyachi but they were turned down due to concerns regarding the potential damage their robot could do to the House Robots as well as their recent success on BattleBots.
